Tron or Krull Page 5

I don't understand so I'll say I prefer.........Troll. Best of both worlds which apparently is what Zooo is about to try!

Tron, with Hawk The Slayer in second place solely on the basis of Bernard Bresslaw's involvement.

Clash Of The Titans or Beastmaster?

Titan's easily, Ray Harryhausen's animation is imrpessive to this day.

Did no one else watch Remo Unarmed and Dangerous?

Oi hands off their fab.

Remo was based on a book? Somebody wrote something that daft?

Well bloody hell!

Any one fancy a book race. Who can read the most Remo books in a week?

And hands up who's never heard of any of the above.

*raises both hands into the air*

I never saw either of them *hesitantly raises his hand*

You never saw Tron?

A life wasted alas.

I figured I'd wait for the remake.

You can't remake Tron, to try and imitate perfection is blasphemy.

Course I saw Remo Unarmed And Dangerous. I was a boy and born in the 1970s. I also had the poster on my wall from the local video shop. Hawk The Slayer was still better, though. Mind you, in those days I was a Dungeons & Dragons geek.

Unarmed and Dangerous with John Candy? I loved that movie.

Nah, different movie. The Reno film had a different name in the States. Flop movies often changed their name when crossing the Atlantic in the 80s.

George Lucas's mega-flop Howard The Duck came over here as Howard: A New Breed Of Hero. Didn't stop it flopping, though. It was still pants.

I don't understand the mentality of marketing men. Were they expecting cinemagoers to say "What's this film? Howard: A New Breed Of Hero? It sounds great. What's that you say, Muriel? It's about a duck? It's nothing to do with that George Lucas mega-flop Howard The Duck, is it? No, come to think of it, it can't be. The film's got a completely different name. It must be about a completely different duck called Howard"?

And Howard the Duck was such an ace comic, right up there with Zippy the Pinhead.

How about an honourable mention for The Black Hole? It's got Tevya from Fiddler on the Roof with a great big killer robot called Max.

You are nuts. You do know that don't you.

I know. They made him cute in the film. What's the chuffing point of that? It's like that American remake of Fawlty Towers where they wrote out the Basil character and replaced him with Dorothy out of Golden Girls.
