I was planning to move to Australia with a mate, a few years back, but changed my mind at the last minute. He's now married, with a baby daughter, and I always tell him he has me to thank for that, what with the whole Chaos Theory, Butterfly Effect thingy.
I nearly ended up in the US for a summer teaching drama but my ex convinced me to stay, work a horrible job, and pay his share of the rent for him while he swanned off all over the place auditioning to further his career instead. I still kick myself over that but I was majorly stoopid then.
If Ali G hadn't chosen Chertsey for his mean streets he could have done worse than look at Amersham. Christ it's rough

Lived in Amsterdam twice, 1999 and 2003-2007. Very cool. Just to be pedantic, you do not get stoned in cafes. The magic word to look for is "coffeehouse"
