What does one click on to find out the word count in the celtz script format
Word Count Celtx
Did you mean Celtx? http://wiki.celtx.com/index.php?title=Word_count
This is one of the things that puts me off Celtx, you need to be online to do so many things.
yes I did mean Celtx.
I went into that web but what do you do then?
From what I understand you need to upload your script to Project Central where you'll see the page count at the top right of the individual project page.
As I say I'm put off using Celtx so I've only had a play around with it and I may be wrong.
I'm very impressed with it and I was unable to understand the beebs scriptsmart system
I'm a big fan of Celtx. Check out their forum, it's if I dare say it an even friendlier place then here. I have not seen one "argument" on there since I joined in '06. It's very helpful and useful as I've recently made a contact through it to film one of my scripts.
I just experimented and cut and pasted it into a new Word Doc and then got the word count...it worked
Just get Final Draft and be done with it.
Final Draft is clunky and too expensive.
or copy and paste into word and hit word count. I've never had any problems with Final Draft but each to their own I suppose.
Clunky? Personally, I dont find that to be the case to be honest.
Expensive? Hardly, M Lewis spends that much on a pair of socks!
Here you go BB... most things are explained/answered here... http://wiki.celtx.com/index.php?title=Main_Page ...including keyboard shortcuts etc...
Glad you're getting on okay with it...
I'm waiting for Final Draft to iron out all it's little niggles with vista before giving it a go...

I love it and it is so easy...thanks for recommending it
For those of you using Celtx Version 1.0 is here http://www.celtx.com/download.html and ready for download.
There are a couple of new things including comic book layout and for those of you who use it regularly don't forget to check the page format size, its default is US Letter you need to change it to A4 before saving to PDF (I found out the hard way....)

do I need to download again? I got the A4 thankfully
