Who will make a decent mayor? Page 13

HAHA

I have decided to run for Mayor!

There's loads of anit-Boris posters up on the 6th form block bulletin board! Not sure that's really allowed, but they're quite good.

I hope that you took them down and burnt them.

Oh bums. We don't find out who won until Friday evening?

I wanna know nowwwww.

Of where? The Republic of Bananaland?

Nope just discussed them. A guy I know said his parents said that they'd have to move out of London if Boris won, because they couldn't cope living somewhere where he could become mayor!

And yet they're happy to live under the newt? Yeeeah, that totally makes sense!

Anyway, apparently Boris is predicted to win now. I'm not certain either way. It's going to be an interesting evening though!

Actually, I think you'll find that Jim Davidson lives in Dubai.

And there's nothing wrong with Lloyd Webber!

And, under no circumstances at all, can there ever be a good reason to support Labour. Not even if they're the only candidate standing against the BNP.

Now that would be a good time to leave the country.

Hah! :D

I get the impression that the media are all doing rapid U-turns in their 'opinions' of Boris.

From 'the clown' to 'he will deliver the goods'

It is looking increasingly hopeful for BoJo. I still wouldn't place any bets on it though!

(But Paddy Power will go f**king loopy if he hasn't.)

Oh they're all getting my hopes up, but it's going to be even more horrible if he doesn't win after all.

You mean whoever wins?

If the people speak, fair enough.

But I'm interested in how many Boris supporters have lived through Tory administrations. I get the feeling - at least on BSG - that under-30s seem to like Boris more. Be careful what you wish for, though.

Even if he wins I'm guessing he'll last no more than two years, either because he gets bored or commits some outrageous gaffe. Don't forget he was sacked from the Tory front bench before.

This is a f--king disater.

I honestly cannot believe that anyone who has lived in London could possibly vote for that clown over Ken.

A man who is prone only to gaffes, vanity and failure is going to be running perhaps the world's leading city. Well done everyone who voted for him, you've done something truly terrible.

I grew up in a Tory administration, and not much fun. That said as Carter USM said

"It's all the same conspiracy,"

PFI isn't all that different to Thatcherite privatisation. That said Boris truly is the vacuous grinning face of gesture politics. Mind you know different to grinning Tony in the early days. Or even Ken running as a two fingers indy candidate.

Here here Barbs, was just reading Ken's stuff on the London SKill's council. The problem with Boris is he's actually dangerous, really physically dangerous.

That crap about hand scanners is Stop and Search by stealth, any one fancy Brixton riots, and operation Swamp? And if there's no bombings in London at the moment it's because of good, positive relationships with the Muslim community. How long before that goes out the window.

Look forward to screwed up public transport, more homelessness, and basically every job the mayor can do, done badly.
