Heh heh. I went to a writers' bash the other week in a cramped upstairs pub. MJ was in attendance and was literally mobbed. Almost like some sort of visiting superstar. He loved it! Actually he probably didn't.

Me too. Even though it was nominally a networking event, didn't really do any of the talking or mobbing myself, too shy!
If I was Michael Jacob, I'd use my power to exploit attractive young female comedy writers. I'd only agree to help their careers if they fulfilled my frankly disgusting sexual predilictions.
(The flaw in this is comedy writers aren't that great to look at).

Lay off Micheal Jacob he's been well generous posting on forums and offering crumbs of encouragement. Rejection is character building stuff and all comedy writers are masochists so you should be loving it. Stop moaning, moaners.
