I've had two ideas tonight.
The first is to actually record all these Tilt rejects and mould them into a podcast. Record them seperately and collate them. Different levels? I don't give a shit. If anyone's interested it'd be better to just bang the thing out.
The second is a performance swapshop. X writes a sketch that Y acts in and records, and vice-versa. Or rather a pool could be set up of sketches for the taking (acting/filming). I've seen some stuff on here that I feel I could do justice to - sketches which, as they are, are probably just left to rot on this board.
Most people with the drive to get up and film their writing seem to want to auteur, but nevertheless I see an opportunity for people to work with different material; bash out a few new ideas. Writers get stuff made in a viewable form by performers. Performers get to work with scripts they like. If noone likes the end result nothing is lost. Just a thought.
Anyone else with ideas that people will pick at for a bit then leave for dead..?
