Quiz ya! Page 28

Oh don't mind me Thing, I was only, as Aaron would say, pulling on your larriot.

:)

Just carry on as normal.

You've totally lost me on this one. The posts are all so out of order it's beyond confusing.

Thanks but it shouldn't matter now: I've suggested a compromise and Marc can decide what he wants to do. I really don't think there was any animosity involved. Can we just leave it until he gets back.

Oh, you're back Marc. So what do you want to do from the choices suggested above?

Just dock me another point as well for outright cheek :)

;)

More complex than than the Maastricht Treaty.

That's saying something!

Ok, Marc gets back his two penalty points and i have the embarrassing situation of having to announce the answer that wasn't very obvious - the fairly poor 'spoiler'.

Ok, Ok, I can swallow my pride. It was the Di Caprio question: There is no such thing as a 'Beach shark'.

Off to do some work now.

What was the ten word three letter answer?

That was the 'guest question' from Mick Green but no one came up with anything. I think you got the two points for the most amusing (actually the only attempt) answer.

back somehwere around Page 19.

I'm still intrigued too!

. . . Yeah, annnnyway.

LOL

I'm going to a quiz later with the daft old goat who originally asked that question - I should have an answer for you tonight or tomorrow. I just hope it isn't a bloody stupid answer...

I had a question put to me today and I've so far resisted the urge to check in the Guiness Book of Hit Singles (though I still haven't got the answer):

Which 1970s UK top 10 hit single consisted of 10 words but only contained 3 different letters?

(And it isn't The Police's 'Da Doo Dee Dip Dop Da Da Da Dim Sum Wip Wop Dee Da Da' or whatever the correct title of that song is.)

I do I do I do I do I do - by Abba

You just know he's googled it or it's his favourite song ever. I'll go for both due to senile dementia.

Honest - it just came to me. After looking at the Police de doo doo doo.

How would I google it anyway?

Mr Chapman is indeed correct.

Though my learned friend who first posed the question was utterly wrong - it's a top 40 hit rather than a top 10 hit. Apologies to (obivously all of) you who did indeed know this but were searching for a top 10 hit instead.....!

Certainly is correct and put us out of our misery.

Two points Mr Chapman. I don't care that only reached No. 38 - at least you found something none of us could.

Shall we sneak a quick little quizzie here now while the hotshots are away? :D
