That's only 5 words and lots of letters

I'm off to bed too.

i think there are one, maybe two questions oustanding but you will, of course, still get the points.

scoreboard has changed quite significantly tonight.

I would like to make this a regular, but less frequent, event as long as the site hosts don't mind. I am interested to hear what days/times suit the most people? Anything but Thiursdays at the moment.

For newbies, a reminder that this quiz runs until the end of the month and we only have the 'glory' as a prize. Still lots of time for others to join in.

Thanks.

No problem. Actually, as one o' them there more easy going quizmasters I don't mind the odd guest question.

Mick's question is now included - for two points it's Q10/. (I think)
cos we're both in a bit of a ''kerfuffle'' about it.

Having researched though, I, for one can't find it?

I'll leave it open in case anyone proves me wrong or just give the 2 points to the most amusing answer by 16.00 tomorrow!

Goodnight.

yeah well I was in bed whilst this last lot was going on. But the Earth question was only partly right because if you think about it Venus isn't named after a Roman or Greek god either! :)

Bugger. I knew I should have checked the thread again before getting into bed.

I'll have to make it harder - but then I've been asked to a number of times lately.

I don't doubt that at all.

Go ahead.

Morning!

Has anyone noticed that there are still two questions that have not been answered correctly??

Q1/. In what month does beuajolais nuvueax arrive in Britain?

Q5/. Who duetted with Luther Vandross, in 1994, on ''Enless Love''?

1 point each

++++ Mick Green's Q10/. for 2 points. -- or most amusing answer by 4pm.

q1 is November thing

and 5 is Mariah Carey

Who is set to catch the beatles shortly for the most number of No 1's

what IS Q10??? and I refer you to my earlier post re Planets named after gods

Ok found it

The answer is 'Return to Sender' by Elvis Presley. There were only three letters in that.

2 points for Qs 1 and 5 which probably puts you back in the lead - I'll put the scores up later.

Noted 'Venus' comment but I think I'll be able to sleep ok.

- and I think the other must be Westlife.

No I meant it was Mariah Carey, thing. There was a big piece on her a couple of days ago on MSN

Also involved but all on zilch have been, Roscoff, Perry Nium, Gavin, Graham Bandage and Scatterbrained Floozy.

Sorry about the wonkiness - the site does that itself?

Interesting that Leevil scored the first ever point and has chosen to play the clever 'consolidation' game and just stayed on 1?
