Are they f**king insane!!!
Astronomy question? Page 3
Quote: Aaron @ April 17 2008, 10:20 AM BSTThe concept of endless space, for me, is just mind-boggling. As is the idea of 'nothing'. Nothing at all. Anywhere. Utterly incomprehensible.
Sorry to disappoint you Aaron, but there are tampons in space. Not many of them, granted, but they're still there. Damn those NASA ladies!

even if there is a danger, which apparently is neglible, I'd still say go for it. If everyone goes at the same time, it's no big deal right? plus a black hole would also implode my mountain of debt.
the real mystery of the universe to me is how my science teachers could make the subject so f**king boring.
Quote: Leevil @ April 16 2008, 9:21 PM BSTAh cool. I'm glad it's not the stupidest question.
Nope, the stupidest question came this week at the Spanish course. It's a toss up between; "What!? Calimari is made of squid!?" and "What!? You can *grow* trees!? I thought they just sprang up where they felt like!" >_<

Oh Lordy! The thought of our world being ended by a used tampon striking the earth at a trillion mph. Well I'd laugh I think? Are there sillier ways to end it?
What if we were hit by a giant inter-galactic Leopluradon?

Oh yeah, well - - obviously innit.
(No wonder he is trailing badly in the quiz so far! - I'll help - - and make one of the answers one of those things maybe)

Somebody has to write that sketch.

Women shouldn't drive on earth never mind space!
*slap*
I'm a good driver...

Well there's not really much to crash into.

The dead deer on your bonnet begs to differ.
Right, so if photons are a type of particle, how can they travel at the speed of light without attaining infinite mass?
Genuine question, been vaguely baffling me for some time.
They're just crazy hip dudes! I'm good at science me.
Voodoo magic.
