Would it be a good idea to include a brand/logo for your sitcom on the front page of your submission? For example, something like the The Smoking Room's dvd cover? Let the reader visualise your sitcom on HMV's shelves?
Professional look of script

No.
I'd say the same, but then isn't Perry a fan of logos and that?
Yup. I agree. Keep it simple. The more flash the dressing the less there is inside. Isn't that right Paris?

Are we talking city or socialite?
Bun?
That would put them off Al-gernon
Spend the time you would have spent on that, giving it a final polish, or the money on the services of a script reader.
How about a photo of the writers' heads coming out of a big star, both giving two thumbs up?
Have a picture of the main character, mid prat-fall. next to this, list the awards that you expect the show to win - but make sure to put them in order of prestige (this will demonstrate how well you know the biz).
Or "David Janson's [sic] head here? Only you can decide!!!!!!!!"
just send your script plain and simple, even 'showy-off' covers put them off. They're all a set of left-wingers
But... It's... Sparkly?
you shouldn't put 'em in folders. Just tag the script and with the title and name address on a separate sheet at the front. They just think you're trying to grab their attention as opposed to others and they'll mock you all round the office
Damn! We usually send a singing script-o-gram with a troupe of sock puppets to play the lead roles.
