Isn't it weird watching your own stuff . . . Page 3

You could have it as a sub site and do something with it. Come on, you have public demand lol.

Can't be arsed.

LOL. We really ARE the same person.

Ha! Well I am (we are) a lazy sod.

I've got some sketches to write up, but I can't arsed as it so long winded writing them up.

And I REALLY should have a shower, but again, can't be bothered.

I'm just sat here listening to 'Kunt And The Gang'.

Having a job is sapping my will to live, too.

I liked the teletext look. It was a bit bereft of content though.

Yeah, it was a fully functioning blog way bag . . . For about a week.

I want to do a 'Warming Up' style blog at some point, but only when my life becomes a bit more exciting.

My best memory was going to London, sitting in the audience of Hale & Pace, seeing some of my sketches being filmed then up to the bar and mingling with them and the production team and the cast and crew of DESMONDS in the LWT bar overlooking the Thames. Happy days.

Sounds like a good night, Keith. Anything overlooking the Thames is always fun.

Well then can you do that ceefax-stylee?

I'll beg!

Wow, I got my first telly stuff on Hale and Pace! Series 8, round about '95. I went to a LWT studio recording and actually blubbed like a girl when the audience laughed at my stuff. What an idiot!

It's easy to forget just how huge Gareth and Norman were back then. (no I'm not talking about their waists). I don't give a f**k how uncool it is to say you worked on that show, I still say they did some extremely funny stuff - every bit as good as Little Britain.

Well I'm not in the same league as you guys, but I saw a sketch of mine bomb at Newsrevue, and that was pretty f**king awful!

I think Perry Nium once said that he submitted sketches to a pilot that never got made and he still got paid, so you should be ok. Unless it says otherwise in your contract.

I think I got paid half up front, and was supposed to get the other half on the first day of filming. Something like that.

I loved Hale and Pace. I honestly never knew they had ever been uncool?

Which sketches were yours by the way Perry?

Yeah there's nothing quite like the high of a big laugh - or the low of a deafening silence. That counts for anything in comedy I think, whether it be a telly show or a gag you've just told down the pub. Growing some rhino-thick skin is needed methinks.

I had a few on - can't remember exactly but there was one with Norman drowning puppies in a public toilet, and also Jon and Yokel, a skit on Jon Lennon and Yoko Ono, only she was a country bumpkin. I did some for the Jed and Dave characters too, the stoned hippy characters.

There was a H&P sketch on tonight's BBC Comedy Sketchbook thing. Not a bad quickie about "pot". Would be amazing coincidence if it was yours Perry!
