Barry Sonnerfeld (sp?) who directed Men in Black directed some of the episodes including the pilot. He's a great director imo.

While I enjoyed this it did strike me as a bit twee. And the voiceover got very tired very fast. Not bad, though. Although I can't see it lasting more than a couple of seasons.
The silly cocks at ITV are going to "skip" episode 2 because they can't fit it in their schedules 
WTF?! Why even bother, bah!
Just heard on the radio that ITV have taken the decision not to show episode two because there are nine episodes and they only have an eight week time slot. Cant be true can it?

And in regards to the show, after reading a bit more I reckon it's an almighty scheduling cockup which for some mentalist reason, they've decided will look better if they just claim to be intentional. There can't be football on 24 hours a f**king day, so this stupid state of affairs is just barmy. They claim that they'll show ep 2 later in the year. But surely it'd make more sense to show ep 9 later on? I mean, these things have a story arc, do they not? ITV are doing nothing but pushing their viewers to download shows illegally.
But hey, ITV are f**ktards. There's a surprise!

I haven't watched it by the way, but dropping episode 2 from a run of 9 seems as mental as anything. I know it's April, but it's not the first and this is disrespectful to everyone - the people behind the show and especially the viewers.
Oh they can't go moving that repeat of Midsommers that's on every week.
ITV has always been like this. They've f**ked up the broadcasting of hundreds of programmes. At least it's a massive show and you can get a download of the eppy.

Poor old Entourage and The Office are buried in the post midnight slot. And, with reference to Pushing Daisies, we're all going to sick of it by episode six anyway.

It's more the principal of the thing than Pushing Daisies specifically.
And ITV are claiming that they'll be repeating the whole show later in the year, complete with episode 2.

As Godot says, and I think I mentioned, people will just go online to watch it, then stay there. ITV will lose their audience over the other 7 episodes, and advertisers similarly.
