2 large wholemeal pitta breads (buttered), lettuce, tomato, cucumber, cress, grated carrot, fried mushrooms, bread crumbed cod, humous.
F**k me it was good.
Roast pork, and crackling good.... As is turkey with stuffing, and gravy (I always wanted that really anal sandwich Monica made Ross with the middle moistener ooh er!)
But proper salt beef, when it's hot and loose across the grain, untouchable.
Unless you're trying a tongue sandwich (obvious gags here we come!)
BKs in Edgware do a Tongue and Salt beef club. The tongue is reverentially pulled from it's steam tray. The f**ker is about 2 foot long, and 6 inches thick, and has a texture like nothing else.
That's a pretty serious snadwich and as a homemade classicc sounds damn good. Was it hot or cold?

Had one of those vouchers with buy one six inch, get another free so I had:
Sub one: Honey oat bread with tuna mayo with cheese toasted with all salad except olives and spicy peppers with honey mustad sauce.
Sub two: Hearty italian bread with veggie patty with EXTRA cheese toasted with salad except olives and spicy peppers and bbq sauce.
Also a cookie and a skittles ( where you mix up all the drinks from the machine).
