More or less the joke I did a few days ago.

But hey, this isn't the time or the place to be discussing this . . .

STOP STEALING MY JOKES!!!!!

STOP STEALING MY JOKES!!!!!

We are the same person remember, so it's not really stealing.

Found dead in Paddington station. It's pretty obvious that Speight went off the rails. (sorry, I couldn't help myself)

Laughing out loud

Gutted to hear this about him, I was never big into art but used to enjoy watching Smart. By the way who is Tony Hart? And, my Mum used to look after Neil Buchannan's Dad. (Her claim to fame lol)

Imagine a 90-year-old version of the cravat-wearing Freddy, from Scooby-Doo, and you'll come pretty close to conjuring up an image of Tony Hart.

Laughing out loud

The number of recreational coke users in this country in the millions. Probably slightly less than recreational dope or amphetamine users. most people who take coke, talk a bunch of crap, dance alot and are otherwise fine. The idea that drugs are so persistently dangerous, and irresponsible is a product of shamefully slack drug enforcement agencies.

Yes there are some very dangerous substances out there, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, and alcohol. Ask a police officer which is their biggest head ache on a Saturdays night.

What happened to Speight's girlfriend was horrible, but a rare analogue to the the 1000s of drinkers who choke on their own vomit, or die of alcohol poisoning each year.

Apparently he tried to ring his family but got put on hold.

He was hanging on the end of the line.

No more. It's bad taste . . .

That joke works two ways of course - train station 'line' reference, and hanging.

I feel so ashamed.

Yes.

According to the Telegraph found hanged in Paddington Station.

I've got to go there tomorrow, hope it doesn't hold up my train.

I was there less than two hours after he was found, and had no problems.

Hanged though? Wow.

What is he dead?

Depends how strong the noose is

Wouldn't go admitting that though Aaron, they may want you for questioning. All that's needed is you finger prints on the rope...

LOL.

Just read how sad.

Man dead, and YOU were there.

Hmmm, coincidence? I think not.

I don't know whether to feel a bit sad or not, really.

It's terribly sad, but I REALLY hate drugs - they're shit - so part me wants to have no sympathy.

I dunno . . .

Yeah, like I said in 'General, General Thread', I never liked him much. And of course there's the drugs thing. But it's still pretty sad really. And the drugs didn't actually kill HIM. Not directly. Broken heart 'n' that.
