Yes, should be all right. *adjusts collar, looks shifty and flushed*

I promise not to suck seductively.

Bad top of the page post...again!

Eek!

No; it's beastiality.

It's BESTIALITY, not beastiality. I remember it from the charge sheet.

:O

Sort it out Aaron.

I DON'T GET IT!!

I DON'T GET IT!!

You don't get what?

The entire pound story. :)

I don't get a lot of things in this thread so I just try and join in.

What's with the words flour and flower? They're the same except for the spelling!

Yes, I am bored.

I DON'T GET IT!!

I am SO glad it's not just me!

I've heard it before, but in a different scenario. Basically, it's just the way that it's explained (note how the counting swaps from addition to subtraction towards the end), makes you count one of the pounds twice without realising, thus leaving the £1 deficit.

Something like that anyway.

Angry

I don't like sudokus either.

Aww!

(Sudokus kept me sane for the few weeks when NT-f**king-L were too incompetent to connect my flat to the TV or interweb a couple of years ago.)

The receptionist thinks that the guests have paid £25, the guests think they have paid £27. The difference between £27 and £25 is £2. The porter gets to keep that £2. The 3 x 9 from 30 is a red herring.
