I just attempted to improve a 10p packet of instant noodles by adding loads of random ingredients.

... I didn't work... still eating it though!

Have you tried frying an egg, leaving it yolky, and then mashing it in with the noodles? I alway do that, it improves them massively. Leave the egg a little oily too, cos a bit of grease makes anything taste better.

I made a soup with a cube of chicken stock and a few noodles. And when it was nearly cooked I stirred in a raw egg and swished it round with a fork. Bit of soy sauce, lovely Chinese chicken noodle soup.

There was water in it as well, obviously.

But that was ages ago. I'm in work now, so the noodle/egg/soup stuff is totally out of bounds.

Yeah, I thought about the egg but didn't fancy it at the time. I do the above too, just wasn't really paying much attention to what I was doing this time, dunno what I put in but it tasted just wrong.

I'm grumpy.
