What is it with spoiler type people?
My mum always loves to tell me what'll happen in Eastenders in 2 weeks' time, stuff/leaks that she gets from magazines.
Why why why? Do such people buy a novel and browse the last page before starting it? What's the harm in just waiting to see what happens, and maybe even letting yourself in for a nice surprise?

Yes, gets annoying, but there are always those people who want to know whats happening next and don't have the patients to just wait and watch.
Perfect example is lost... I daren't look anything up in lost or I might stumble on a spoiler.

But I can understand people getting excited about a programme and not being able to wait to see what happens, but it must take so much away from it when it finally comes on? Ah well, if that's what makes em happy!
Quote: ian_w @ April 6 2008, 1:51 PM BSTI just watched the ep again on iplayer btw and noticed the Dr threw the sonic pen away at the end - does this mean Donna's mum's gonna find it?
Wrong Bin. Actually thinking about it its a possibility. Whats more worrying is how Rose can disappear like that. Obviously not by the time agent gizmo as there was no orange light. I reckon she must have a trans-dimensional gizmo that lets her move between parallel universes.
On the subject of LOST.... not a spoiler but very funny...

I can't fathom it either Ian, we'll have to be left in confusion
If it's a show I watch, but don't care deeply about I'll read spoilers. Perfect example is Hollyoaks. I like to watch the JP storylines (cos he kisses boys, innit.) But the rest of it is boring. So if I read what's happening in advance, I know which ones I can miss and which are worth watching.
I don't like spoilers for shows I care about though. They're pointless.

I'm sure it's been asked before but I'm new innit.
Zooo, what sre all these posts about where u refer to boys-on-boys stuff?
Just curious.
I suppose it's like a lot of boys who appreciate a bit of lesbian action, I'm a girl who likes the opposite.
And luckily, Dr Who and Torchwood are undeniably a bit gay.
Cool! that's cleared that up then!
Quote: Bad dog @ April 6 2008, 10:00 AM BSTLet's just ban Jake now. I had to scroll through these spoilers quickly so as not to see too much of it.
Thank God I'm not the only one who thinks this. Totally agree. He/she's a total tit.
He/she posts a load of twaddle which seems designed solely to generate interest in him/herself. it's not pretty.
I suspect he/she's pissed more people off than anyone else on here, including several who have been banned. Look at the evidence: spamming; multiple identities (I remember Jamie Jones); using people's identities and email addresses in a totally uncontrolled way and claiming they have joined his website; posting spoilers repeatedly.
Of course, he always says "sorry" - like that makes it okay.
Unfortunately, it seems like the "powers that be" here either tolerate his transgressions, or, more likely I suspect, like to retain his presence as a figure of fun on whom they can look down.
Unfortunately, this is cry wolf time. F**k off Jake and Jamie.
Seriously, get rid of Jake and we have a much better forum. I'm not being elitist, just sensible. A rogue element who persists in disobeying rules and netiquette should not be humoured, even if they post interesting stuff. Unfortunately in Jake's case they don't even do that.
Mods, what are you going to do? Other than tell me off?
*shrugs*

Hi Badge, sorry, Like Lee, I don't really have an answer for you, I'm going to leave it to Aaron.
