British Comedy Guide

Hello folks

Hi there

I have been creeping about these forums for a little while now, and thought it was time to dive in and introduce myself.

A little about myself then. I live in Glasgow, which is lovely apart from most of the other people that live here. My taste in comedy is pretty varied, my faves include Spaced, The Mighty Boosh, Green Wing, Monty Python, Black Books and anything with Ronnie Barker in it. I also have writing aspirations, although they are in the pretty early stages. I'd love to get your opinion on whatever nonsense spills out of my head in the near future.

looking forward to chatting to you folks.

Afternoon. :)

hello and welcome, i hope you are a stayer and we see you around for a while to come.

Hello and welcome

I look foward to seeing your head nonsense and I do try to comment on as much as I can and give honest opinions on stuff.

P.S your already in my good books liking Ronnie Barker

Thanks for the warm and fuzzy welcome :)

Welcome, It's good to see more people from Glasgow on the forum.

Hi John, I'm undecided but do you think the clocks should keep changing?

I certainly don't. Bloody farmers!

Welcome Hun

Please do stay, I am sure you will enjoy.

No - the clocks should stay as they are - about 8.56.

Welcome.

Are you a croft farmer, the noo?

I wouldn't know how to farm a croft.

Very good :P

Welcome John - I am a Weegie by birth but my family managed to escape up to Aberdeenshire when I was a sprog. All rellies are still down your neck of the woods though so I feel obliged to visit now and again.

I share your admiration of the great Mr Barker also - a genius.

Welcome to the forum.
