He can be but he's also a brilliant musician and has a terrible sense of humour.

Me too! I just got it yesterday. I love the bantering they do on their radio show. I've been listening to it off and on all morning.
I love the Lee Mack bits!
I've been playing Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata - found the sheet music and haven't played it for a wee while.
This piece rips me up every time, it makes me feel at one with my keyboard in a little bubble of depression, I love it love it love it!
Just sit back and have a listen to this, and tell me it's not one of the best pieces of music ever written. And try not to commit suicide!
Love that song.
You can actually play that?
Cool.
It's not depressing, it's melancholy!
My ears would like to say thank you for the link.
I remember supising some upper middle class snobby tart because I knew loads of classical music. I may look like a football hooligan but I do know my music.

I play lots of classical music and love it. Listening to it is great but if you're not a musician I can't explain how ace it is and how much more you appreciate it when you actually play it. This piece is actually very easy to play though. If you ever learn to play the piano you should be able to attempt it after the first couple of grades.
It's not depressing, it's melancholy!
Yeah, I suppose that's a better word!
My ears would like to say thank you for the link.
Your ears are quite welcome

People are fecking judgemental, aren't they?
My mum works in an old folk's home. I went there once when I was younger and they were all looking at me like I was about to mug them. There was a piano there and I played the piano version of Badinerie by Bach and they suddenly started treating me like an angel.

What a change in tone!
Futureheads - The Beginning of the Twist
Mentally good song.
Everybody Knows by Leonard Cohen. I heard a dreadful cover of it at the end of a TV show this week, and thought I'd reaquaint myself with the bleakly brilliant original. Another great song from Mr Chucklepants.
