Angry Driving Sketch

Int. Car

A man is driving a car. A woman is sat next to him. They both look angry.

Man: It's all your fault we're lost!

Woman: No it isn't! It's your fault!

Man: You're the one who said you could read bloody maps!

Woman: I could til you chucked it out the window!

Man: Well you kept reading it wrong!

Woman: Only because you chucked my glasses out the window!

Man: And why was the window open?

Woman: Because you wouldn't let me stop off at that toilet!

Silence.

Woman: Can you pull over.

Silence.

Woman: Pull over!

Man: Jesus!

The man puts the indicator on and pulls over. The woman picks up a clipboard.

Woman: I'm sorry to tell you that you've failed your driving test.

I don't think anyone's accusing you of plagiarism, Winter.
If this has never happened to you before then you've been very lucky.

It doesn't change the fact that it's a very good sketch though.

Oh I didn't think I was being accused of plagarism. Just annoyed that the idea has potentially already been done!

At least I can take some comfort that my mind is capable of setting out sketches good enough to get on the telly!

I'm going to have a search through youtube tonight to see if I can find anything.

Yeah, there was one similar. A woman kept chipping away at a bloke for not making an effort with his appearance. Covered in cat hairs etc. Turned out he was the instructor and she was taking her test.

Ah ok. Cheers for that.

That's a bloody shame, because it's one of the best skits I've read on here in a while. Like you say though, take comfort in the fact that you're writing broadcast quality material.
