You sense that some on here will only be happy when the police are all white men who are six foot six and have large moustaches. So perhaps we could meet in the middle?
What if we also had a wooden hut attached to every police station that is full of shoeless native police officers with badges on their fez's. Each officer could come with a video message showing Kenneth Moore dressed as an Major in the Indian Army reassuring the requesting coppers with a firm "He can be trusted' Followed by a further reassurance "Besides he knows where his breads buttered' !

All rather pathetic - whenever I happen to catch these grubby money grabbers on TV, they sound like a load of baying school-kids, and this scum is running the country. No wonder it is going down the pan, and I expect with this "important issue" they've had to come in for, they're probably on a £Grand each + expenses for putting in an appearance, or not, the bastards.

No objection to ethnic minorities joining the police force - or joining anything else. It's discrimination I dislike. Whichever way it is operated. And the hypocrisy.
