Many of the items he used to import previously had zero tariffs on them.
(Tariffs are way more complicated than Trump would have you believe with his made-up numbers)
So he's paying 104% on items that he originally paid nothing on.
One of his most popular items went from $0 per item to $16 per item.
Technically, an infinite increase, but for the sake of argument, let's call it a 1600% tariff.
That soon adds up.

£273 return, with Split-Save and a Senior Railcard.
Not bad considering the two hour trip to London often costs as much ass £85
