I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,956

It's being reported that Elon Musk is stepping down from his government role. As usual, the people surrounding Trump don't stick around very long.

In a few hours we'll get to see how serious the president is about his upcoming tariffs. Will he water them down, retract them before they're even enacted, or go scorched Earth? It's always a guessing game.

Yep.
Time difference means the tariff news will come late at night for us.
i've heard the same Musk rumours.
it was never going to last.

Yesterday Wisconsinites told musk to go f**k himself

Grasping at roumours now...

Given that it was reported as being so in the Daily Mail I would have thought you would have presumed it as being gospel.

If you're talking about Musk, it's being reported by major news outlets - including ones that lean right. He's always been expected to leave in May, so it's not a huge deal. Look at the members of Trump's 2017-2021 inner circle and see how many still support him. He's obviously difficult to work for/with. His team seems better managed than during his first term, but I wouldn't be surprised to see major fallouts in the next few years.

Chumps government stated yesterday immediate 10% tariffs on Heard and McDonald Island

In Antarctica

Population: some penguins

Thick, mindless, gormless bunch of cretins

Apparently Trump tried to phone the Emperor, but he gave him the cold shoulder.

😆😆

He probably heard that statistic about how often penguins form same-sex couples.

Probably a preemptive move in case Australia tries to offshore a billion-dollar corporation to their remote territory by installing a mailbox and a laptop? Who knows?

I read a similar complaint about Svalbard (population 2500), but it has a major satellite ground station installation that does many millions of dollars in business. I know that because I used to work with them daily.

I usually like to buy a newspaper on 1 April to see if I can spot the April Fool story (often quoting a spokeswoman named Avril Loof). It might be a bit more difficult this year to sort out the spoof from the real ones.

I saw one on Facebook about some camouflage football boots which screw up VAR looking for offside.

Forest Trump once said if the dow jones ever drops 1000 points In a day - the President should "be impeached "

Today, after his tarrif bull crap- it dropped 1500 points (it's down 5000 points since trump won the election)

The 5th largest single day point drop in the history of the Dow Jones. Businessman of the year does it again

Utterly stupid and a massive hypocrite too

(He will probably blame Biden for today's crash, or sharks, or the wind. or Hannibal Lecter)

Personally I blame the f**kwits who voted this turd back into power

A bit like Labour the way they continually blame the Tories for the current mess.

Who'd want to live in a world where half the population are f**kwits and you superior people have to live in and among.
It must be frustrating and painful to see them win while only you know the right way.
But being stoic, you never say much.
