Classic Albums on Sky Arts - Bat out of Hell by Meatloaf.

Love it or hate it, it's really an epic and I love the drama and extravagance of it.

About 25 years ago, I worked with a younger guy who only listened to Meatloaf. He smelled like urine.

The Vernons Sprint Cup, mentioned in the Grandstand highlights above, was of course famously won that year (and indeed the following year) by Be Friendly, owned by commentator Peter O'Sullevan.

Did he commentate on the race too?
and stay calm as his own horse won.

As calm and professional as ever. Here is a clip of him commentating when his horse, Attivo, won the 1974 Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham. Keep listening to the very end when he reads out the 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

Not much fun watching my own team at the moment so for light relief I'm watching yesterday's League Cup final. Great result but funny the way the final was between 2 non- football league teams.

You think you have problems!! Mind you, I've pretty much resigned myself to the Championship next season already

Mr In-Between. An Australian series about a hit-man for hire while he lives a normal family life.
Cruel, nasty and also very funny.
