... On the other hand I see Gakpo didn't make it. You win some, you lose some. Although he still has another fixture this gameweek.

Hercules you bounder!
The first time I get over 100 points this season and who am I versing in the H2H - yeah you, with your poncy 127.
Well done (choke)

Big match in the H2H this coming week.

If I can beat Alf by 3 or more points, not only will I go up to 2nd in the H2H but also up to the dizzy heights of 3rd in the main league.

Flippin' Alexander-Arnold 😞

Yeah, I did feel for you Stephen 😜😆, and it was an all time record for me too; BUT if effin' Salah had scored at least a hat-trick at home against Wolves, which I was counting on and should have been a guarantee, I would have beaten Godot's triple captain Salah score too. 😡 mutter..mutter

Flippin' Alexander-Arnold 😞

Ha ha, I gave him an extra jaffa cake with his cup of tea this morning for his efforts. You did close the gap somewhat though. ☚ī¸

I get rid of Haaland 'cos it says 75% Chance of playing, BUT he does and scores me 6 points even though, at the time he was still being shown as injured.

So, I get rid and buy in Isak, who is NOW 75% Chance of playing since I bought him

How the F**k are you supposed to play this game if that keeps happening - one is seriously F**ked Off, and I don't know why I bother 😡

Yeah, I noticed Wellbeck was 50% chance of playing (knock) right up to the off.
It was too late to sub him - but he played and scored.

I seriously messed up this week in my haste to get my team sorted out before the early cut-off time.

Thinking Chelsea were looking good for a couple of clean sheets over the next two fixtures v Southampton & Leicester while Nottingham Forest were up against Arsenal & Man City, I swapped my Forest keeper for the Chelsea keeper. Unfortunately I forgot that they had changed their keeper since I had had Sanchez earlier in the season. So I put in the wrong Chelsea keeper (nil points). While Forest, of course, kept a clean sheet.

Then, for much the same reason, I opted to bring in Gakpo for Chris Wood. But I took out Watkins by mistake, So, after a hasty deliberation, I wasted 4 pts correcting that and bringing Watkins back in. Then Gakpo is only named as substitute.

Well, it's nice to see that some of us are maintaining the status quo on posts..................

So, in a bid to make some sort of amends, I swap the out of favour Chelsea keeper, Sanchez, for Jorgensen, the keeper who has played the last 4 games (and kept a clean sheet the last gameweek). And guess what? Sanchez is back in this week. Meanwhile the Forest keeper, whom I thought it prudent to discard because they were playing Arsenal & Man City, kept his second consecutive clean sheet. Can't help thinking maybe I'm over-thinking this?

bUMP _ yES, I wonder where the powers that be are.......................❓

... Then Palmer misses a penalty, Kluivert's goal is ruled offside...

It's Bilko's Perfect Day in reverse.

I bought in Cuceralla this week, to replace Hall who is unavailable
so that was nice,
not Quite a whole Bilko day, but maybe 12 to 12:30 at least

Ah yes, the hat trick hero. Well, he scored 7 goals from 26 starts last season - a reasonable return from midfield - so I figured, with Solanke going, there might be a few more up for grabs this year. Although, as you know, it took a while before I was fully convinced myself.

It was an astute move.

Which he missed and then the next, followed by 11 minutes against a leaky City and 28 minutes last week against Newcastle where he put up .5 xG and nearly scored a bicycle kick. I expected lots of points against Southampton but he wasn't even on the bench. Rubbish buy in the end.

Posting has really slipped on here. I'm as much to blame as anybody. Will try to rectify next week as I'll have a bit of time.

That worked out well.

I actually do have time this week, so will try to clear the backlog of Manager of the Month presentations. There's a few!

Yeah. I've punished myself by only having two Jaffa cakes with my cuppa.

Watch this space.

Well done on playing your bench boost this week, Steve - 28pts! Everyone on your bench returned!

Oh wait... 😜

81 points is still a wicked score this week with the average at 52 but... bummer.
