I'm a Chase man.
That's Chase - not chaste

I'm a Pointless man.
I think we all knew that..

They just don't see it in themselves.
Every post filled with hate towards someone. Nasty attacks on a daily basis - but others are the hateful ones.
It's the actions of a madman.

Change the record, matey.

Read back, every post is a vicious attack of someone.
Or doesn't it count if he's 'one of us?
It's not me that has to change the record.

Are you describing yourself?

Does it never occur to you that some people might deserve attacking?

As I write this, the stock market is down 7.5% for the month, and it continues to plunge. The market is now down to pre-election levels, erasing all of the gains it made due to the expected arrival of a pro-business Trump presidency. Americans' 401k investments are tanking, and I don't think the administration will survive another few months of this financial beating, especially because it's precipitated solely by the president's tariff vendetta against our biggest trading partners. Something has to give...

I wonder if the president has considered what Canadian statehood would really look like? It wouldn't be one massive state, but ten provinces would become states. What would another 20 Democrat senators and 20+ million Democrat voters do to the future of the Republican party?

Sorry about the wall of text, but that's the president's writing style, I guess.

Based on Ontario, Canada, placing a 25% Tariff on "Electricity" coming into the United States, I have instructed my Secretary of Commerce to add an ADDITIONAL 25% Tariff, to 50%, on all STEEL and ALUMINUM COMING INTO THE UNITED STATES FROM CANADA, ONE OF THE HIGHEST TARIFFING NATIONS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. This will go into effect TOMORROW MORNING, March 12th. Also, Canada must immediately drop their Anti-American Farmer Tariff of 250% to 390% on various U.S. dairy products, which has long been considered outrageous. I will shortly be declaring a National Emergency on Electricity within the threatened area. This will allow the U.S to quickly do what has to be done to alleviate this abusive threat from Canada. If other egregious, long time Tariffs are not likewise dropped by Canada, I will substantially increase, on April 2nd, the Tariffs on Cars coming into the U.S. which will, essentially, permanently shut down the automobile manufacturing business in Canada. Those cars can easily be made in the USA! Also, Canada pays very little for National Security, relying on the United States for military protection. We are subsidizing Canada to the tune of more than 200 Billion Dollars a year. WHY??? This cannot continue. The only thing that makes sense is for Canada to become our cherished Fifty First State. This would make all Tariffs, and everything else, totally disappear. Canadians' taxes will be very substantially reduced, they will be more secure, militarily and otherwise, than ever before, there would no longer be a Northern Border problem, and the greatest and most powerful nation in the World will be bigger, better and stronger than ever -- And Canada will be a big part of that. The artificial line of separation drawn many years ago will finally disappear, and we will have the safest and most beautiful Nation anywhere in the World -- And your brilliant anthem, "O Canada," will continue to play, but now representing a GREAT and POWERFUL STATE within the greatest Nation that the World has ever seen!

The average price of a dozen eggs has risen by 18% since Donald Trump returned to the White House

In the interest of telling the truth, the price of eggs is dropping rapidly and they're now cheaper than when Trump took office. My personal experience at the grocery store confirms this.

So how will it play out? Aren't you pretty much stuck with Trump for the next four years? The Republican Party seems scared of him and do whatever he wants, even if it's not in America's interests.

It's hard to say. He could be removed from office, but that would prove difficult and highly incendiary. Most likely, he'd make concessions and still claim victory. Or he could just throw a tantrum and walk away from the job. There's still VP Vance to worry about, but Trump's cabinets have a history of falling to pieces. I doubt many of them (not to mention Elon) will still be around four years from now.

"The price of eggs jumped 15% last month and was up 53% in January from a year ago, Consumer Price Index data shows. "

"The Department of Justice has launched an investigation into the surging price of eggs, which is expected to rise more than 40 per cent in 2025."

Trump - eggs down on DAY ONE

Reality- 40 percent increase isn't down!

That does not negate the fact that prices are on their way down and have reached pre-Trump prices. And 11.75 of the 12 months between January 2024 and 2025 were Biden's, so he owns the majority of that 53% increase.

As much as I dislike they guy, I'm not going to attack him for an "expected" prediction of what might happen in the future.

Egg prices are up because we killed something like 150 million chickens to try to stop the spread of bird flu. Prices will rapidly drop as soon as the bird flu problem is solved - and they are dropping rapidly. I am seeing it with my own eyes in the grocery store.

Statement from the Us-Ukraine peace talks in Saudi Arabia:

"Today in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia - under the gracious hospitality of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman - the United States and Ukraine took important steps toward restoring durable peace for Ukraine.

Representatives of both nations praised the bravery of the Ukrainian people in defense of their nation and agreed that now is the time to begin a process toward lasting peace.

The Ukrainian delegation reiterated the Ukrainian people's strong gratitude to President Trump, the U.S. Congress, and the people of the United States for making possible meaningful progress toward peace.

Ukraine expressed readiness to accept the US proposal to enact an immediate, interim 30-day ceasefire, which can be extended by mutual agreement of the parties, and which is subject to acceptance and concurrent implementation by the Russian Federation. The United States will communicate to Russia that Russian reciprocity is the key to achieving peace.

The United States will immediately lift the pause on intelligence sharing and resume security assistance to Ukraine.

The delegations also discussed the importance of humanitarian relief efforts as part of the peace process, particularly during the abovementioned ceasefire, including the exchange of prisoners of war, the release of civilian detainees, and the return of forcibly transferred Ukrainian children.

Both delegations agreed to name their negotiating teams and immediately begin negotiations toward an enduring peace that provides for Ukraine's long-term security. The United States committed to discussing these specific proposals with representatives from Russia. The Ukrainian delegation reiterated that European partners shall be involved in the peace process.

Lastly, both countries' presidents agreed to conclude as soon as possible a comprehensive agreement for developing Ukraine's critical mineral resources to expand Ukraine's economy, offset the cost of American assistance, and guarantee Ukraine's long-term prosperity and security."

Will Russia agree? Maybe.

Will Russia continue to attack Ukraine in the future? Almost certainly.

"The Trump administration is now desperately trying to rehire the USDA bird flu officials it fired."

As best as I can tell, that quote is from a Twitter/X post.

Three people were accidentally fired from an office of 14 several weeks ago. I assume that they have been rehired by now.

I'm going to start issuing account suspensions if the bickering doesn't stop, guys. Please rein it in.
