I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,937

Another highly important debate in the Commons yesterday about the most serious issue of this century

I would have been interested to hear Farage's opinion

But he couldnt even be f**ked to turn up

Again

I'm sorry Arron but your pragmatism is not shared by many when it comes to cooperation with Europe on any issue or any level.

There's a bigger difference than the media like to paint, between the large mass of Brexit voters, supporters, and Reform/Faragists. You may be right on the latter, but I don't believe it to be the case of the former. Not in my experience.

You would assume that but what about the Brexit zealots they can't be spoken to its almost a mental illness and its their type of approach that has helped get us to where we are now.
All it will take to scupper our role is Russian/ Musk social media crap and offshore agents such as Farage, Tice Oakshott and the Mail to get the Brexiteers blood up even higher.

Brexit is increasingly less popular - the current issues will only accelerate this.
And Reform members are in a tight spot - suddenly finding themselves having to slag off the King for talking to Zelensky, having to listen to the voices of appeasers within their own party - the very opposite of the nostalgic, patriotic, Churchill-worshipping imagery that Reform and their ilk have been utilising for the past few years.
And all these lovers of 'Free Speech' taking the knee to Putin's Russia - the polar opposite to a 'free' country?
They will always be there, and yes, Reform etc will try to spin it, no doubt with the aid of foreign interference, - but I think current events have taken the air out of their tyres.

It's no more serious than 9/11 and the chaos that ensued, or even the Israel - Palestine conflict either, and the possible consequences for the entire middle east.

Despite the loss of lives, only two nations on the fringe of Europe are involved in actual conflict. I personally don't think it'll spread to any more, but could be wrong.

JD Vance has referred to the UK as "Some random country that hasn't fought a war in 30 or 40 years" is he right or is he pushing Trumps Russian narrative.
They want Zelensky out , they want elections that they can fix , they want a repeat of 1939 and Crimeans to become the new Sudetenlanders.

.

Disgraceful comment that disrespects all the British soldiers who have died in conflicts, some of whom died helping America. Then again, what do you expect from a man who has sold his soul to the devil for power.

Trump has sold out Europe as well as Ukraine. He also believes that he can take over Canada and crush Mexico. Alongside that he has eyes on Panama and Greenland. Let's be honest we live in dangerous times due to the election of a compromised, corrupt megalomanic.
This is going to get bad and fast, the former soviet states that had enjoyed freedom will no doubt rearm and be ready to die rather than go back under the yoke.
Be in no doubt America can no longer be trusted if anything it should be feared as its aims are now contrary to our safety and well being, we have another Hitler in our midst and unless we accept that and form up with our European allies we are in big trouble.
The age of the idiot is over, its down to the grown ups now!

Totally agree. He's as bad as Putin. Did he help to rig the US election?

100%

Cyber warfare

There was only ever one way the USA could be utterly compromised by Russia -'what needed to happen was for a President to somehow get elected who was a corrupt, xenophobic, megalomaniac criminal- bingo!

Jackpot

Putin wins, everyone else loses

Quote: Alfred J Kipper @ 4th March 2025, 9:49 AM

Well it's supposed to be what NATO was formed for, but as the US is the main provider and this Trump govt is fed up with that, with some others clearly not pulling their weight (like France)

I don't think France have pulled their weight since Napoleon was defeated.

To be fair, their share of GDP dedicated to defence is aout the same as ours.

Ah the bastion of free speech....

Taking to TruthSocial, Trump announced that "agitators" would be arrested or deported as he demanded Universities end protests on campus.

It comes following months of college protests across the United States against Israel's assault on Gaza.

Trump wrote: "All Federal Funding will STOP for any College, School, or University that allows illegal protests.

"Agitators will be imprisoned/or permanently sent back to the country from which they came.

"American students will be permanently expelled or, depending on the crime, arrested. NO MASKS! Thank you for your attention to this matter."

By "illegal protests." he obviously means"any protests"

Fascist , Hitler loving shithead

The editor of Reform Uk's official magazine just tweeted this!

"Can someone who is active within Reform UK get in touch with me and let me know what the party position is on Ukraine? I really can't keep up with @Nigel_Farage

Let me answer- it's whatever trump and Vladimir tell him his position is

I'm talking about their activity in wars.

Is that Trump talking to his BFF Putin?

They were heavily involved in both world wars, Korea, Desert Storm and Afghanistan. They sensibly kept out of the Iraq disaster. A shame we didn't do the same.

They surrendered to the Germans in both World Wars.
