Taskmaster Page 19

I have all the first 9 series I burnt to DVD, when I think the series was funnier - maybe because they weren't then scraping the bottom of the barrel for ideas

Taskmaster's New Year Treat 2025 tonight - I enjoyed it quite a lot. Football bloke David James was particularly funny, surprisingly. As is often the case on panel shows, non-comedians can come across better than many 'proper' 'comedians'.

And his painting was so good! Very unexpected.

Yes, that is his hobby since he retired from footie, and I too enjoyed the show

I was surprised there was no confirmation of the line up for the next series.

Forgot to also mention I have had the hots for Hannah Fry for a number of years - she is gorgeous in my eyes, and looks as though she would be a lot of fun

Line up for series 19:
Fatiha El-Ghorri, Jason Mantzoukas, Mathew Baynton, Rosie Ramsey and Stevie Martin https://www.comedy.co.uk/tv/news/8208/taskmaster-series-19-line-up/

Very happy to see Baynton. Mantzoukas is a left field choice. Martin's online videos are hilarious.

Never heard of any of them, but am very much enjoying the current repeats of Series 17

I love Baynton, and Fatiha was funny on the outdoor version of Taskmaster (Outsiders). Rosie Ramsey isn't a comedian is she? I guess she's the Richard Osman of the series.

I've been rewatching series 14, the one with Dara o'Briain, Fern Brady, John Kearns, Munya Chawawa and Sarah Millican, which has a lot of great moments. That was the first time I saw Fern Brady in anything, and she turned out to be one of my favourite ever contestants.

Me too, and on a personal note, I couldn't take my eyes off her gorgeous legs 🤪
