I did try to transfer Gakpo in but was a minute too late, which meant I also left Curtis Jones and whoever I have from Everton on the bench .My only consolation is that at least I did bring Wood(s) back into my team last week

When I saw you'd left Curtis Jones on the bench I wasn't sure you'd quit - he was flagged before the game. Then I saw you had Mykolenko last so I definitely thought you had. Glad to hear it was just life getting in the way. Luckily you still had the captain on Salah so you still get to benefit from the double. Pretty good outcome considering, if not ideal.
I'm gonna assume you not knowing the name of your Everton player is an historical joke. If not, I hope you don't pass me. 
I've been saddled with a non playing Everton player for weeks cos I was priced out of Mykolenko by .1m. I'd definitely swap you.

I was only thinking that last week 😁, and I see another triple I can play already on Salah this coming Week 25, along with three Villa players..........gonna crack that 100 ceiling if it's the last thing I do.
Just had a thought - knowing my luck, Salah will slip in his garden doing a bit of weeding and twist his ankle

Don't forget Villa are playing one of the best teams in the country that week so there won't be many points to be had by Villa players. And following that they then play Liverpool.

If I can beat Alf by 3 or more points, not only will I go up to 2nd in the H2H but also up to the dizzy heights of 3rd in the main league.
But all the top teams are beginning to look very similar in player selections so little chance of making up much more ground.

Ah yes, the hat trick hero. Well, he scored 7 goals from 26 starts last season - a reasonable return from midfield - so I figured, with Solanke going, there might be a few more up for grabs this year. Although, as you know, it took a while before I was fully convinced myself.

Yes Chelsea having suddenly hit the skids after a really good run has derailed more than one of my accas in recent weeks. The most annoying thing is if I'd backed the other team instead, I'd have not only won the bet but got a lot more from it. 😠 This probably belongs on the gambling thread, oops.
I put the match on cos there was nowt else on the telly.
And had a flutter for Brighton to win because I am a growing fan of Mitoma.

A small "victory", and things may be on the turn, to play over half of the match with 10 men against the "mighty" Villa - even the mighty Rashford couldn't break through due to some fantastic goalkeeping.
The only thing that pissed me off, was Watkins was doubtful to play and so I didn't jig my team about to fit him in. 😡 Cost me 9 points

That changed after the Villa news conference on Friday when he was pronounced fit. His doubtfulness was removed from the FFL website on Friday afternoon.
I know because I was following it carefully with a view, if he did pass the fitness test, to transferring him in. Which I did.

Also, at the time I didn't have enough money, so it would have involved a lot of j j j jigging about over someone who might not have been fully match fit - there, right or wrong, that's my layman's view
