I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,913

It's also ironic that those here up in arms about a couple of Labour mps making stupid moronic statements - are also the same people what aren't remotely bothered by all the offensive and illegal things Trump has said and done - for years

Kinda feeling there's some pretty biiiiig fkn double standards here

I could spend half an hour posting offensive drivel Boris Johnson got away with spouting for year after year

I thought that's what you did do.

No, I'm not the sort of cretin that would mock black people for having "watermelon smiles"

P.s. something that the current leader of the nasty lefty Labour Party wouldn't be ignorant enough to do in a million years

The conceit is impressive.

That comment has more to do with your personal unpleasantness than anything to do with current affairs as usual.
Certainly odd to see people feigning outrage over tweets Labour politicians wrote years ago all of which are far milder than things Trump says on a daily basis.

That's some faulty keyboard.
the "half-million illegal immigrants in London" figure (or, "1 in 12" as the Right-wing press would have us believe) has been seriously de-bunked. https://fullfact.org/immigration/illegal-migrant-london-population/

No it hasn't in any way. They are merely nitpicking at the ESTIMATED figures deliberately using the high end figure in the survey of 585k, while the survey clearly quoted an average of 471K from an estimated range of 390k to 585k. It is a another highly biased attempted debunking while pompously pretending to be the absolute authority on it. They don't know the actual facts anymore than anyone else, because these are undocumented immigrants who don't want to be discovered.

And surely the latest news this govt. is now boasting about having rounded up four thousand illegal workers in a few days of raids is confirming what most people who look around them know, there are a vast number of illegals here taking the piss and costing us dearly.

I don't think most people do believe that. Only a vocal minority.

No, it confirms that this government is doing something about the issue, rather than artificially maintaining it so as to stir up hate and win votes.
I agree, it's a shame they feel they have to parade the plight of these poor sods in front of the public.
But I think that says more about the public than it does about them.

Personally, I have never defended any of the "offensive" or "illegal" things that Trump has said or done. Nor, come to that matter, Johnson and the Conservative party. Far from it in fact.

The only thing I've ever said in favour of Trump (other than the fact that he wasn't Biden or Harris) is that the world was in a much safer place when he left office four years ago than it was after four years of the Democrat administration. Which is a fact.

What I am "up in arms" about is the fact that we were promised - not least by yourselves -a clean and wholesome change in the behaviour and attitude of the government following the July election. And we haven't got it. All we've got is more lies, more u-turns, more offensive tweets, more dodgy expenses claims... ...

And now it is the Labour supporters on these forums who are attempting to defend the indefensible on a daily basis. Exactly what they were/are accusing Tory supporters of doing. Exactly the same arguments only the other way round.

.

It isn't a fact.

You certainly turn a blind eye to them.
Certainly a few Labour MPs have behaved badly. That isn't good and I don't condone it. But it doesn't compare to the torrent of dishonesty and corruption we experienced under the Johnson government or the general incompetence we all lived through particularly during the later years of the last Tory government.

Wanting to murder someone is a mild tweet?
What's a bad one?

Trump says worse things every day.

You are now embarrassing yourself. Selective logic is not a good stance.

More rudeness from you. How surprising.

As I said, defending the indefensible.
