Why wouldn't they be?
It would be surprising if there hadn't been some shift in public opinion against it over the last nine years. Has anyone in the UK benefitted from it? A genuine shift in public opinion, after all, seems far more likely than a large section of the electorate consistently choosing to lie to surveys.
