The shop by me is open all day and all night and every day of the week, including Sunday.
I can't think of a snappy way to express this.

FOrgot about it anyway

OF course you would've

Caught a bit of the NOBA ep shown the other night, and apart from remembering the news of his death like it was yesterday and wondering how 30 years could have possibly passed, his well documented sense of superiority in the double act was evident right from the off, with his comment to camera after the opening sketch boasting it was all his creation.

I always felt sorry for Dudley for Cook's blatant self promotion and denigrating of his partner, not only as one of the nicest men in comedy, but being genuinely funny and a much bigger part of the act than most second men. Although he proved his quality with a string of hit movie roles which further infuriated Peter, he never appeared the slightest bit conceited like his old partner, a true comedy great, but ridiculously jealous and bitter with it.

Couldn't agree more. The is one thing I didn't like about Peter Cook, was his patent hatred of Dudley's superior talent and later success.

And I question Cook's real talent for comedy were it not well rehearsed and maybe taking on some of Dudley's advice, because the one time I saw him on Whose Line Is It Anyway, Cook was toe-curlingly embarrassing

Peter Cook was a lot funnier than Dudley and he knew it
But Yes I bet he was jealous of the success Cuddly Dudley ended up with
