This is why I never give up
apart from all those previous seasons where I just gave up

a 50 point gap isn't that much so nor should a hundred point gap be at this stage
I can't be doing with Alf Kippers Never say win attitude! Anyone can still win it !
I mean anyone from the top 5 obviously, i'm not crazy

I'll check my mirrors.

me too , It's the only way to maintain a decent quiff

Sold Robinson for Castagne just before the deadline to free up some cash and still keep an attacking Fulham defender. Robinson then gets two assists and a bonus! You get what you pay for in this life (except when you pay Madame Chloé for French lessons on Brewer street - lawyers have been instructed - Je n'aime pas être pris pour un imbécile).

Nine pointer from Wood on my bench, too, but I was never going to play him against Pool.

Agree. The Assistant Manager Chip makes it very open this year. Lots of potential for people to f**k it up as well as use it well. I'm dreading it.

Kipper has played an early wildcard so at least he's planning to soldier on for a while. I won't be joining his City love-in though.

And Gabriels goal is down as a Solanke OG
That's bad luck

And just to cheer Herc up as he's always a bit down when he posts on here
Mr Grytpyppe Finn is the current front runner in Januarys manager of the month award

You're pulling my plonker - that sorta thing doesn't happen to also rans like moi

He probably meant 'the Super 6, where indeed, you are in front at the moment.

Confused dot com 😕

Thanks Steve, although I'm more annoyed by the Wolves goal being disallowed and Chuna only playing the second half.

Rogers and Hall killing my rank this week - and Wood - who I bloody own! Still I've been below 500K since GW3, so I'm having a good season.

I bought Hall in on a whim when I had an injured defender and just looked for a replacement that I thought was most likely to keep a clean sheet that week
But he's scored well so he's a keeper even though he's a defender.
And I think Rogers was in my team from the start because of his cheapness, but even when he was out for a couple of weeks I kept him in red on the bench
because I rate his value at that price. definitely two of my luckier choices

And I'm glad Man U are Pony tonight
but that doesn't mean Fernandes can't produce something

I saw the actual leader of the whole league has Fernandes as well, so there must be a reason
I can't stand him but I'll put him on my watchlist in case theres something I'm missing.

Oh yes he almost got an assist just now
Yup I think I'll watch the Traitors instead of Fernandes

EDIT
Did anyone captain Diallo?

Yeah I had Rogers from the start. I sold him for Saka but I'd rather have him than Sarr at the mo. You're right, he's excellent value and a good asset.

Fernandes is a great player in a very shit team who is sometimes a good fantasy pick. I bought him When Van Nistelrooy took over and put him up front. Sadly (and hilariously) United booted Van Nistelrooy out and now he's gone back to a slightly deeper role of playmaker/attacking midfielder where he doesn't have the same access to points. His passing and creativity is outstanding (he got 2 bonus against S'ton with no attacking returns) and he is the MU penalty taker but I think you can safely take him off your watchlist.

Nice to see that Billy's remembering not to bench Kluivert, even in tough fixtures...

Wouldn't be saying that if I was Kipper, obviously.

Once bitten... It was a near thing though!
