Got it as well, I expect Skybet lost a bit on that one, it looked good at 3/1 even without the money back guarantee. All three were 4 goal hammerings, I wonder what odds you'd have got on that?

I wonder if the 'bet-setter got the sack from Sky bet?
They lost £8 million on that one promotion alone.
About time too, they've had enough of my money. No one will be sacked, because a promoted bet has to be authorised by execs, and they're not going to sack themselves. But if the idea was to pull in small single bet punters from other sites, they could claw it all back over a few weeks with a few thousand more new punters pulled in by that giveaway, so there might've been some method in it. 🤔
Just annoyed I didn't think of backing it up with a bigger unlimited stake on the original 2/1, as I had also backed the supposed weak link Leeds on another bet. 😠 Now I have a bit more clear thinking time I'll be looking for a gimmee today to back a bit more. Where's that pin?

Yeah I missed that one, but keep them coming
I won 20 quid on the Liverpool Man U draw
I knew that was never going to be a walkover, it's just one of those fixtures
Nice.
I did OK on the Darts World Championship.
I have a system with the 'in-play' betting.
The odds fluctuate during the game, often meaning I have money on both players in a no-lose situation.
You win some, you lose some...
Nice return, although I expect you're not using food banks, with a spare 20k to flash on a horse. Obviously a very sound tip from a very trusted tipster. And the bookies winced after that race. While you smiled. Nice one. 🙂
That's not your betting slip is it, if so you are invited to the next BCg drinks and the first round is on you
Of course, what you've both failed to take into account is that the horse didn't win.
(Not my slip btw. I merely posted it to highlight the danger of betting at long odds-on - if I had £20,000 to spare, I wouldn't risk it in the hope of winning £8,000.)
