A Christmas present.

Thank you 😊

The only upside is that it wasn't on bloody TV, so I didn't have to watch in shame.
1 point out of the last 9.
Not good enough.

A Christmas present.

He put out a strange team (an especially sore point speaking with my Fantasy Football manager's hat on). Too complacent?

Considering our form over the last two games he should have been anything but complacent.
We often have a shitty Christmas, TBH.

We're all happy here 😁

Htafc bought a new player from The Netherlands on Friday. They paid a lot of money for him (Ruben Roosken) and great things are expected from him.
At 0 -0 in the second half, the manager brought him on to break the deadlock.
After just 2 minutes, he didn't break the deadlock but he did nearly break a players leg and was instantly red carded.

Off to watch Aldershot v Solihull Moors today. Well, someone has to.

Best of luck to Accrington Stanley (always fascinated me at Sat. tea-time when my dad checked his pools on the radio), and there's a certain irony when one thinks back to the milk advert with the two scouse lads talking about, they will have to play for AS and not the Pool if they didn't drink their milk up.

Just me then, old enough to remember that TV ad..................

No. I remember it too. Accrington Stanley didn't exist at the time.

And now Plymouth having got rid of that idiot look like they've won at Brentford.

That TV ad was shown in the late 1980s, so it wasn't as long ago as you might think! Even I remember it, I would've been a teenager then.

Well that's five hours of my life I won't get back again. At least it was warmer in the Aldershot branch of Costa than it would have been at the match.

How many hours of your life do you get back?

Incidentally Manchester City 8 - 0 Salford. Couldn't happen to a nicer team.

5 -0 doesn't reflect the initially valiant effort put in by Morecambe against us.
They played all the right passes.
Just not necessarily in the right order.

I put them down for 5 - 0 on the Super 6, and then thought I was pushing it a bit.

Mind you!! I got the Chelsea/Morecambe result dead right for a maximum 5 points! 😁 (Makes a bloody change)
