I say, come come now, Mr Bunter you fat owl. Now I want you write out 100 lines "An ident is a symbol or design that identifies a TV channel", in it's simplest terms, and to make it easier for you, here is one from the 1950s, which I'm sure you will remember............

I bet it wasn't called that in the 1950s though. Sounds very much like a 1990s/2000s buzz-word.

F**k, that was hard (resist it). Every single one was a guess so I didn't check my score as it wouldn't mean much and I couldn't live with myself if I got an OFAH one right and questions about The Young Ones' Rik Mayall and Ben Elton wrong.
Happy Christmas.

The BBC's bat wings were, I believe, the world's first, and were originally called a "television symbol".

Well, I'm nearly 80 and I knew what it meant, but then I am more down with the kids on the street, who give me the word - Yeah man Dig it

Knew 1, 3 and 9. The rest were unlucky guesses.

Clearly a combination of, no I was not watching what was happening in 2024 and not knowing at least half on the peeps mentioned, I managed to scrambled together 5/10 and 0/5

6/10 for me, but the only one I knew for definite was the first one
Correct: 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9
Always liked Alan Partridge stuff, but I must've missed or forgotten the news about there being a new series coming this year! The title seemed the most likely from those options though.

6/10 and 2/5, which I'm happy with considering at least half were guesses.

Happy New Quiz!
7 out of 10, 2 out of 5 for me. My usual score. Good stuff!

Quiz 339 from Kate Emmett, the last in the animals series!

8/10. I didn't get the question on Ghosts - I did watch some of it and quite liked it, but couldn't remember that detail. And I remembered seeing that Joke of the Fringe from a couple of years ago but not who said it. Otherwise, the questions landed pretty well for me.

Correct: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10.

Great quiz! 8 out of 10, 3 out of 5 for me.
Got Sean Lock and Fringe questions wrong.

5/10 and 1/5
In my defence, a lot of it I'd never heard of and some were educated guesses or pure guesses, and one I changed from the correct answer - typical. Go with your gut!

6 and 1 but all guesses except Perrin (which you could probably get anyway) and Boosh, and I am proudly maintaining my record of f**k all on the OFAH and Blackadder questions.

You got one more than me, so I think you have a greater knowledge than you are letting on, owing to the modest person you are in not wanting to show us plebs up

Sad to see this is the last of the animal quizzes (but I'm not sure what animals are left unquizzed on) - 8/10 and 2/5 for me. Thanks Kate, they've been fab 😊

Got 1-2, 4-7, 9-10, 14-15 correct, including another instance where I changed my mind at the last minute only to find I'd changed my mind away from the correct answer.
