Gavin and Stacey - The Finale

Absolutely loved it - sad to see it end, but Corden & Jones have more or less been of the mindset that it's dust for many years now.

Yeah, while I think 90 mins was a bit long for it and a couple of bits could have done with some light editing/trimming (I wouldn't have got rid of any the scenes, just push them a long a little...), it was so satisfying a finale. It ended how it really needed to.

Somewhat predictable, but still really enjoyed it. Very nice to see (almost) everyone again.

Loved it. Can't believe how fortunate they were that the baby they cast 16 years ago happened to grow up to be a talented actor. A 16 year old in Eastenders would have been played by about eight different people by now.

I'm watching it now although I've not been avidly watching it. I thought Smithy and Nessa were a couple.

I've always liked Ruth Jones after watching Nighty Night with Julia Davis (who is also here) and Little Britain. Also interesting to see the Chelsea Detective.

Anyway I'll have to continue watching and try to make sense of what I've missed.

Secrets and lies courtesy Alison Steadman.

Anyway just finished watching it and yes a tad predictable. Did anyone else notice my above quote from her husband's play?

Also Anna Maxwell Martin, Herc.

I still have difficulty watching Rob Brydon "acting".

Well, it eventually piqued my interest. About 15 minutes from the end. Could have saved a lot of time and fast forwarded through the first 80 minutes.
