Quote: Billy Bunter @ 16th December 2024, 1:18 PMMy ticket for this year was £20. Some seats cost well in excess of £100. I try to get a seat in the front row of the Grand Circle. Although high up, if you don't mind climbing all the stairs, you get an unobstructed view. Always book through the theatre's own website:
I booked for this year's in late April when the tickets first went on sale but you don't really need to. You just get more choice of seats the earlier you book. There are still plenty of odd seats available for this year up to the finishing date of 12 January: https://ticketing.lwtheatres.co.uk/event/5658/?date=2025-01 In fact a couple of years ago, I was unable to get up there on the appointed date due to a train strike and, with only a few days' notice, they were able to switch my seat to a different date with no additional charges.
As far as getting there is concerned, I go by train into London and then bus (utilising my bus pass). But Oxford Circus underground station is more or less adjacent to the theatre if preferred: www.lwtheatres.co.uk/theatres/the-london-palladium/plan-your-visit/
Thank you very much! I must say those prices are most reasonable - I expected them to be much more - I might see you there, and let's face it, you're unmistakable 🤓 In the bar? G&T isn't it, or are you still on the ginger beer?
