Let's hope they succeed in that mission at least. They're not going to meet their house building target by any stretch, they're not going to make a dent in net migration, they're not going to keep us away from the clutches of an EU which is itself falling apart, they're not going to cure the NHS, they're not going to raise non union workers' wages.
Yep it's much better to have a government that had a real plan for building houses- which was to do absolutely nothing about the issue, for year after year
Politicians like this , are much better.....
"The Conservatives refused to build more social housing because they worried it would create more Labour voters, Nick Clegg has said.
"It would have been in a Quad meeting, so either Cameron or Osborne. One of them - I honestly can't remember whom - looked genuinely nonplussed and said, 'I don't understand why you keep going on about the need for more social housing - it just creates Labour voters.' They genuinely saw housing as a petri dish for voters. It was unbelievable," he said.
P.s. under the tories the NHS has been virtually destroyed, waiting lists are longest in history- and net migration went up and up and up despite the promises of Johnson and Sunak
But yes, let's hope this new government fails so people have nowhere to live and can't get medical treatment - if that means we can get the corrupt self serving Tory bastards back for another 14 years of utter failure it'll be worth it
Yes, a return to people who put votes and power above public service and doing wants needed and what's right
