It's a right-wing myth...

The stuff about the Churchill busts is famously a load of balls! It's explained here: https://edition.cnn.com/2021/01/21/politics/winston-churchill-bust-oval-office/index.html

It's funny that it's always a right wing myth or a load of balls because some left-leaning organ says it is. There's never a thought that the left-leaning organ itself might be perpetuating myths and untruths. Whatever the left spouts has to be believed. Very naive. And very dangerous.

Which bit of the article isn't true?

Trump ally Elon Musk also seems to be dedicated to bringing down the UK government.

To be fair, the UK Government currently seems to be dedicated to bringing down the UK Government.

It is not "always" any such thing! Often it is a right-wing organ attacking the Left, in which case you'd doubtless be keenly championing it as a right-winger yourself.
CNN are not actually left-wing anyway. There is clearly nothing wrong with the content of the article at all so you have attacked the source instead.

Good to see our wonderful Prime Minister endorsing Saudi Arabia and their staging of the World Cup in 2034.

Kemi Badenoch's really hit the ground running as tory leader

This week she lead an all out assault on sandwiches

Especially moist ones

Not f**kin around this lady

Starmer's bunch really have no idea. Channel crossings of illegals up again. How are they going to build "affordable" housing with nobody to build them? Oh - of course! The illegals.

Which bit of the article isn't true?

I've no idea whether it's true or not. Neither, I suspect, have most people.

It was the assumption that, if it's written with a left wing perspective or attacking a right wing view, it is automatically cited as being true to which I was referring (you actually said yourself: It's a right-wing myth and The stuff about the Churchill busts is famously a load of balls! It's explained here merely because that article told you so).

Already answered this:

Which bit of the article isn't true?

How do we know it's true or not? It reads like a pro Democrat denial of any political bias against a British colonial figurehead and I don't believe that diplomatic version one bit. The fact remains both US Democrat presidents removed Churchill's bust and a GOP president keeps returning it. That tells us who the special relationship is really with, a Tory led Britain and a Republican led US.

Let's hope they succeed in that mission at least. They're not going to meet their house building target by any stretch, they're not going to make a dent in net migration, they're not going to keep us away from the clutches of an EU which is itself falling apart, they're not going to cure the NHS, they're not going to raise non union workers' wages.

A Churchill bust proves nothing one way or another, just like my Talking Heads albums don't make me automatically pro-American. If Trump rakes up Morris Dancing, wears a 'Kiss me Quick' hat at his inauguration, and starts raving about the Goodies, then we can argue he's pro-British.

Yep it's much better to have a government that had a real plan for building houses- which was to do absolutely nothing about the issue, for year after year

Politicians like this , are much better.....

"The Conservatives refused to build more social housing because they worried it would create more Labour voters, Nick Clegg has said.

"It would have been in a Quad meeting, so either Cameron or Osborne. One of them - I honestly can't remember whom - looked genuinely nonplussed and said, 'I don't understand why you keep going on about the need for more social housing - it just creates Labour voters.' They genuinely saw housing as a petri dish for voters. It was unbelievable," he said.

P.s. under the tories the NHS has been virtually destroyed, waiting lists are longest in history- and net migration went up and up and up despite the promises of Johnson and Sunak

But yes, let's hope this new government fails so people have nowhere to live and can't get medical treatment - if that means we can get the corrupt self serving Tory bastards back for another 14 years of utter failure it'll be worth it

Yes, a return to people who put votes and power above public service and doing wants needed and what's right

No. It wasn't removed by either Obama or Biden. More importantly, anglo-US relations were far better under them than they were under Trump. Surely that's the main thing.

Ever heard of the Suez Crisis? That certainly wasn't true then, was it?

You clearly want the very worst for Britain. The government has only been in power for six months and yet you are praying for them to fail. It is very unpatriotic.
