Legends of Comedy With Lenny Henry

There have been 4 episodes of this Channel 4 programme, with Lenny Henry talking with a British comedy person about their career, and comedy in general.
I watched the one with Alexei Sayle which was on tonight, which was quite good. An endearing dynamic between them, clearly friends for a long time, and interesting to hear them discuss the big differences in each other's approach to comedy.

Much of it seemed very rushed, though - I would've liked Henry and Sayle to have discussed Alexei Sayle's Stuff, The Young Ones etc. in rather more depth, but we just get a clip, a brief bit of chat, then straight into the next thing.

I'll probably give the one with Paul Whitehouse a watch next.

I plan to watch these. I have been an Alexei Sayle fan since his sublime "Stuff" series back in the 1980s. I'm not sure about Lenny Henry though, he has gotten so woke in the last couple of decades.

Anyway, I have 4+ so I'll watch it and let you know.

Sounds more like Stanley Unwin.

All we need now is for 'Lex to go wround to Ben Elton's and stick his tongue stwaight down the back of his twouserrrs.
