I also knew number 1.

Quote: Hercules Grytpype Thynne @ 20th November 2024, 8:40 AM............................... then hits you with loads and loads of people I'd never heard of!!! No chance of getting a question right
Smacks of Richard Osman's "famous faces" on House of Games, you've never heard of, though I did know the two lovely ladies this week - as for the two blokes, God knows, and care even less.
Agreed, only managed 5/10 and 2/5 this week. Oh well, something new learned.
Quiz 334 from Kate Emmett, this time with the theme 'Primates'.
9/10 for me! Much easier than last week - I knew most of them for definite, with just one or two lucky/educated guesses.
The only one I got wrong was question 6, as I was never into The League of Gentlemen (despite liking some of the other things Shearsmith, Pemberton and/or Gatiss have done).
Great fun! Perhaps a bit easier than usual. 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5!
Three and two but in a way this was better than usual as they weren't guesses. I remember the Orvill one as they had a top twenty hit when I was about eight years old. Good times.
See you next week.
Quiz 334
6/10 and 4/5 (highest ever of the "hard 5" questions!) Quite a few educated guesses
Just 5/10 and 2/5 and I wasn't monkeying around. Too many 'fringe' and solo performer type Qs for a high score from me. 🙈
Numbers 1, 4, 6 & 8 for me.
I did the quiz earlier but completely forgot about the forum. Think I got 7/10 and 3/5.
I was thinking about the routine in Q15 a few days ago, wondering if the same still holds in language teaching in schools now.
Quiz 335 from Niki!
6/10 for me - a few I knew, and a few lucky and/or educated guesses.
I'm not always good at 'what year did' or 'which series did' type questions, but the Allo Allo one I was OK with as it gets repeated a lot.
I predict most people will get the Red Dwarf one correct, and the old folk will probably know the last one.
Correct: 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8.
Great fun. A flawless quiz!
Q10 was interesting. I never knew that or if I had, I'd forgotten.
6 out of 10, 3 out of 5 for me (I always get about that). Keep up the good work!
Or just trying to remind us you're young or at least not old. 😠 Not that I am either. Happy with 7/10 although talked myself out of another, and just 1/5 on the bonus extras which seemed appositely hard, to me.

Well done a plate, yes I was trying to make some of the questions a bit easier to balance out the harder questions later in the quiz.

Q10 was interesting. I never knew that or if I had, I'd forgotten.
Thank you Chris 😊 I must admit I only know Q10 from books and clips on comedy documentaries rather than actually listening to the show itself in full.

Thank you AJK, well done 👍
Quiz 335
Oh dear, 5/10 and 1/5.
I found Q.10 the easiest as I have them all on CD 😊
