Now look! Alex Jones is BBC1 and BBC2 at the same NOW. How does that happen?

"But the ones out there... are far away... faaaaarrr away..."

springs to mind 😑

For a good primer on the mess in the Middle-East, I can heartily recommend The Promise on C4 catch-up.
It's from 2011 - tells parallel stories 1) The Brits in Palestine just after the war and 2) a girl ( Claire Foy pre Queen Liz) trying to find out about her grandfather.
Four episodes - really nicely done.

If you've asked him not to talk to you, why make this kind of snarky post yourself, lofthouse?

I thought that was Echo and the Bunnymen.

More like The Killing Moon.

Watched the Tuesday night episode of The 1% Club. I got the final question right, the difficult 1% question, yet NONE of the EIGHT people who'd got through managed to get it. I don't think that's happened before. Feel free to be impressed and think I'm great! If not, then, well, sorry about the bother!

I thought I'd give "Extras" another try

Yep, still awful

Hippies - with Simon Pegg

Ouch

Really sucks....

Oh, I remember quite liking Hippies when it was originally shown. Although that was probably about 20 years ago. Where's it available to watch?

Royle Family at Christmas. "You've got to have a Turkey at Christmas!"

I found it on YouTube

Unfortunately 😁

I'll give it a rewatch then. Thanks!

The first series of Extras was worth watching for Ashley Jensen alone. A great comedy performance.
