I remember Click and Collect. Are there any other one-offs scheduled for this year?

It's that time of year again, where I plan in my Christmas comedy viewing throughout December - like the sad git that I am.
As ever, the usual episodes will be screened much closer to Christmas:
Blackadder's Christmas Carol
Vicar of Dibley - Christmas Lunch Incident
Quote: Alfred J Kipper @ 19th November 2017, 6:19 PM...and think Rising Damp's Alone for Xmas is a neglected gem and very funny.
Even moreso after That's TV have shown it about a hundred times in the last couple of months. It does annoy me how much Rising Damp gets overlooked in general against all the BBC sitcoms. The other day I watched Pointless for the first time in aeons and the couple who went on to win the jackpot, mistook a still of Rising Damp for TFARORP obviously because they'd never heard of the far superior sitcom. Make's me 🤬

Can't think why but I've still never seen this, or the Back & Forth special. They don't seem to show them on the usual Blackadder re runs, or if they do I just miss them always. I'll keep a look out this year as I'd like to see them.
Oh or the Civil War one which is from my favourite historical period. Maybe getting the boxset at last might be the answer. 🤔

It's a choice of whether to turn the heating on or buy the Rising Damp box set.
Of course if the heating isn't turned on, you might end up with rising damp anyway.

Porridge No Way Out may well be one of the greatest Christmas specials ever written. Not a word wasted, wonderful gags and the final line is perfect.

Ah great, I'll have a gander over Christmas, Cheers for that. I forget about these interweb resources. 🙂
Permalinking a post I made on a similar thread from a while back in the Sitcom section (had to go back a few pages!) : https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/post/1260014/
To add a recent one to that, Motherland (the first one) is getting a re-watch this time.

Yeah, that moment at the end with Fletch and Mackay is brilliant, the slow realisation from Mackay, haha.

'Ere! This wonderful thread started a whole five years before yours, which makes me important and definitely not insecure, okay?!
As a PP has already mentioned, mine's Blackadder's Christmas Carol. I just adore the sheer weight of sarcasm.
Alas Smith & Jones - The Homemade Xmas Video - is a work of art.
Anyone watched this?
I haven't, no. Is it available on the Tube of You?
