RIP Doctors. Herc's wife's right. It was a good little show, not least because a BCGer used to write for it

I wonder if it was a BCGer who wrote the episode of Doctors called 'The Joe Pasquale Problem'! That was some strange shit

Watch from about 30 seconds in, or about 2.15 in for maximum Joe Pasquale enjoyment:

I was relatively late to the Doctors party, so gold dust like this is all new to me. Luckily I have about 3900 episodes to catch up with.

VG - love Joe, especially his early years, when he was totally loony

RIP John Prescott

Indeed. A legend.
I could happily watch footage of the Prescott punch forever!

Shame a lot of that had to 'ironed out' of the Labour party.

That's not really true. There are plenty of people from working-class backgrounds and genuine left-wingers in the present government.

I was once in an episode of Doctors. Sort of. A picture of me was used on it in 2011. I was supposed to be the dead brother of one of the other characters.
Fame at last!

!

I think they keep them on somewhat of a short 'leash, though.
It's understandable & it's a different world now, but you knew where you stood with Prescott - and what his roots were..

The deputy PM ?!

Just checking, was that the first thing everyone thought of when they heard he'd died?

Damn! And I thought we'd got away without a RIP, but no, someone had to post summat

Legend?!?! Do me a favour.

I wouldn't call him that - a hypocrite yes, who slagged off the upper echelon of government, but then typically jumped on the band wagon/gravy train by accepting a peerage with open arms, scorning his supposed working-class grass roots.

I can hear Lazz and ****house loading their rifles now, as they choke on their afternoon tea and crumpets...................😆

The Left are always held to a much higher standard than anyone on the Right is.
RIP.

Because they're so hectoring and pious in the first place.

You'd have preferred it if nobody had even acknowledged his death? Charming.

I'm no fan of Prescott either, but not sure it's a particularly good look to speak ill of the quite so recently deceased like that, H!
