Does anyone know how tall Albert was? Google tells me Brambell was 5'2" but he seems a bit taller than that. I know Harold always took the piss out of him for his short stature. I am 5'4" but I can hardly see Albert standing shorter than I. Maybe it's just from a lifetime of people towering over me!
Consensus of opinion seems to be 1.57 metres. Whatever that is.

That's apparently 5'2 yes. Been watching it lately and he is a lot shorter than Harold. And Harold picked him up the other day and stuffed him head first in a dustbin or container of some sort. 😁 Albert was a hilarious character, couldn't have had better casting for both. 👏

Here we go. S8 E2 And So to Bed. Albert says "If you got to 5'4" you'd had your lot and if you saw anyone taller than that, he was rich". Harold then says "You're taller than that". I suppose google is wrong. It's not like the internet to ever be wrong in any regard! /s
