Picked this up as ITV have started repeating it from the beginning, and have to say I really enjoyed it.
Not a massive fan of Alan Carr, but this is well written with some nice touches and the young lad playing him as a boy is perfectly cast, with shades of Alan but not a complete impersonation.

His campy lisp shtick just grates on my nerves
It's like someone unleashed the ghost of Mr Humphries and decided it would be better if he was the main star instead of just a character actor.
