Not confused at all. I thought it was a simple enough question.

Fair enough. Some people on here seemed quite sympathetic to the rioters. The riots mostly happened because the far right stirred things up. But I wasn't accusing anyone here of causing the riots.

Ok. For the record, far from being sympathetic to their actions, I several times referred to them as:

rioters; hooligans; thugs; criminals.

It was Starmer's rhetoric and unconstitutional actions to which I objected.

He'll let them out early anyway.

At long last we have a government that makes the wealthy pay their fare share - instead of tory austerity that crippled already struggling working class people

Big tax for private jets, equivalent to an extra £450 per passenger.

Lower & higher rates of capital gains tax increased.

Stamp duty extra cost for second homes up from 3% to 5% (on top of normal stamp duty) - starts tomorrow.

Non-dom tax status abolished.

"Reeves says OBR has criticised previous chancellor Jeremy Hunt for misleading it materially on information relevant to the state of public finances, and that therefore her forecasts cannot be compared with his. This is raw politics"

Liar and a conman - this should be a criminal offence

So, under the cover of the budget MPs sneak in yet another benefit/cash cow/self serving racket as they now do not have to provide a receipt for ANY expense under £50

Bastards! Oh, and that's not going to be abused is it - lots of £49.99 claims from now on

Yet another example of that scum in Westminster taking the piss, hoping Joe Muggins won't notice or knowing they can do f**k all about it anyway

It's a consultation document.
£50 is a suggested figure.

For now - I don't trust any of those bastards. Anything to make an extra £1 or two or fifty, but oh! I just thought they can use the Winter Fuel Allowance - so that's alright then. I feel better already knowing my £300 is going towards a good cause.

You mean for Labour? Now fully exposed as a bunch of hard left socialists with a plummeting approval rating and still no female leader, when the supposedly unwoke Tories have their 4th!!!! Maybe it's because they can't decide what a woman is?

Well now she is leader- that means about 50% of reform voters won't vote Tory
