Taskmaster Page 18

This is the best series they've done for some time, the contrast between Jack Dee's dour demeanour and Rosie's ebullience is wonderful.

I thought all the 3D recreations of paintings was brilliant, and I burst out laughing especially at Jack Dee's van Gogh 🀣

Not so good tonight, I thought

I liked it! Especially Jack's long walk, and the pocket task. I have a feeling she never gave that money back.

Enjoyed the (hilarious) robot and strongest smell competition

I loved the robot! The milk jar smell was very disappointing.
Also loved Baba accidentally calling Greg's mum a slag.

Repeatedly, which he couldn't seem to get round

Repeatedly, which he couldn't seem to get round

πŸ˜‚ I thought he said it on purpose the second time for comedic effect, but he actually didn't. Amazing.

Brilliant this week, and am still chuckling over Jack calling Andy Zaltzman - "Krusty the Clown" πŸ˜†πŸ€£

And must make sure all females in future are wearing socks in bed - Heh Heh😈

I gave up on the episode after fast forwarding a lot of it. The tasks seem to be getting worse than ever - where's the entertainment value in watching people repeat gestures and noises, or that 'barrels' crap?

Oh dear, and I thought the barrel item was good and funny

Ah well, each to their own.

I'm intrigued to see what the new series called Junior Taskmaster will be like, though, which starts on Friday. A taskmaster for 9-11 year olds (no celebs or 'comedians'). It's got Rose Matafeo as the Taskmaster and Mike Wozniak as the assistant, so that'll make a refereshing change to the Greg/Alex thing. Wozniak was talking about it on Sunday Brunch this morning.
(Maybe there'll be a separate thread for that rather than talking about it on this one).

I thought the prize task in yesterday's episode was the best they'd done in aged.

Very average line up for New Year Treat though.

Enjoyable series - I thought Jack would have won it though.

I've never got round to watching this. But I see they're repeating the very first episode on Dave at 6pm tonight. Might fit in nicely before Hi-de-Hi on UK Gold at 7pm with the added advantage of avoiding having to watch the 6 o'clock news.

I'm the same. I'm not sure if it really is worth my time.
