At first glance it doesn't look great, and they seemed to have copied the American Office quite closely, but like the American Office it might well develop it's own identity and get better.
I'm probably more interested in seeing the new American show set in the same universe as The Office, starring Domhnall Gleeson and the woman from The White Lotus.
The boss is a woman! Rad!!!!! Cos, like, women can work too now, right? Progress!!!!!!!! It's like Black Lives Matter. I never knew before, but then I read it on Facebook, so it must be true. I also have a gay friend.

Ooh what's that?
All anybody knows is that the people behind the US Office are working on a spinoff called 'The Paper', with the tagline: "The documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch is in search of a new subject when they discover a dying historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer reporters."
It's also set to star Sabrina Impacciatore, who was fantastic in season 2 of The White Lotus.
I'm cautiously optimistic since the guys behind it know their comedy onions.
